MY JOURNEY

My journey with Iyengar Yoga began over 15 years ago, while living in Tel-Aviv, Israel. After many years of exploring my body through dance and other methods of movement, I came across Iyengar Yoga and found my home. The depth that came from each instruction, the vast awareness which penetrated to all levels, was precisely what I was looking for.

For me, Yoga is a daily practice, that I can depend on regardless of the condition I am in, physically and emotionally. Through the daily asana practice and study of the texts I can understand better the mechanics of the mind and consciousness, and explore the different layers we all consist of between body and mind. With this intention and with purity in heart I pass this subject to my students.

I had the great luck to be a student of Noa Zweig in Israel, and to do my teacher training program with her. More information on Noa's center in Tel Aviv can be found here:

I am still a student of Yoga, and always will remain. Today I have the privilege to study with Faeq and Corine Biria from France. More information on the center in Paris can be found here:

I also had the blessing and honour to study and attend classes at RIMYI institute in Pune, India. This is the home and center of our beloved Guruji BKS Iyengar, and of his children and grandchildren, who continue to teach us Yoga in the most dedicated manner. Official link to the Institute in Pune can be found here:

I give thanks to all my teachers along this path for all that they have given me and hope to pass this beautiful knowledge on to my students with the same dedication and enthusiasm.

Today I live with my husband and two daughters in Ericeira, Portugal where I teach daily classes and hold yoga retreats.
