About Iyengar Yoga & The studio
Iyengar Yoga is a yoga method based on the teachings of yogacharya B.K.S Iyengar. The basic principle of this method is creating precision in the poses and finding the central axis in every part of the body. This leads to stability and strength, flexibility and serenity, as well as a deep understanding of the different layers of our embodiment and an opportunity to solve and heal many problems.
Tamar has been studying, practicing and teaching Iyengar Yoga for over 15 years with great love and passion. Her first Iyengar Yoga center was in Haifa, Israel and since 2019 she has been living in Portugal with her family and is teaching there daily, where her students from all over the world come to practice.

Back & Joints
Level 1 - Beginners class, suitable for all people from all levels.
Level 2 - Intermediate class, recommended after at least 6 months of Iyengar Yoga practice.
Level 3 - Advanced class, recommended after at least 2 years of Iyengar Yoga practice.
Back & Joints - A class focused on back and and joint therapy, a soft practice, suitable for all people from all levels including those suffering from minor back/joint pain and problems.
